- 出现极端情绪时,我们会生成安抚性内容,鼓励并引导未成年人向监护人、老师或专业机构寻求帮助,并提示求助渠道;

Effective date: July 27, 2026
These Rules are a dedicated supplement to the BrainJD Privacy Policy and impose stricter requirements on minors' personal information and the protection of minors. Where these Rules conflict with the Privacy Policy, these Rules prevail on matters concerning minors.
BrainJD (the "Product") is operated by Feigeshi (Hangzhou) Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us"). We take the protection of minors' personal information and well-being seriously. These Rules implement the requirements of:
- the Personal Information Protection Law of the PRC;
- the Law of the PRC on the Protection of Minors;
- the Provisions on the Online Protection of Children's Personal Information;
- the Interim Measures for the Administration of Anthropomorphic AI Interaction Services (Order No. 21 of the Cyberspace Administration of China, the NDRC, the MIIT, the Ministry of Public Security and the SAMR, effective July 15, 2026; the "Interim Measures");
- the Provisions on the Administration of Algorithmic Recommendation for Internet Information Services;
- the Guidelines for Building a Minor Mode on the Mobile Internet.
Parents and other legal guardians ("guardians") are asked to read these Rules together with the minor. If you are under 18, please read these Rules and use the Product with the guidance of your guardian.
1. Scope and definitions
1.1 Minor: a natural person under 18 years of age.
1.2 Child: a minor under 14 years of age.
1.3 Sensitive personal information: the personal information of any minor under 14 is treated as sensitive personal information in all cases, subject to separate consent, data minimisation, encrypted storage and strict access control.
1.4 Anthropomorphic AI interaction service: the Product uses AI to provide a continuous emotional interaction service (companionship, emotional support) that simulates human personality traits, thought patterns and communication style. It therefore falls within the scope of the Interim Measures, and these Rules also implement that instrument's requirements on the protection of minors.
1.5 These Rules apply to all processing of minors' personal information, and to the provision of anthropomorphic AI interaction services to minors, through the Product and its companion hardware.
2. Age and minor-status identification
2.1 Age confirmation: you confirm your age at first sign-in. Users who declare they are 18 or older must complete real-name verification, and age is then determined solely from the date of birth parsed from the verified ID document. Users who declare they are under 18 need not complete real-name verification and are treated as minors under the stricter rule set.
2.2 Verified age is not the sole basis: Article 14 of the Interim Measures obliges us to "take effective measures to identify minor users". Because a minor may register using someone else's identity, in addition to the verified age we also use supporting signals to identify suspected minor users — patterns in when and how long the Product is used, the content and phrasing of interactions, and device usage characteristics. Once a user is identified as a minor we switch to minor mode immediately and, where necessary, restrict or stop providing the relevant features.
2.3 Strictest tier where age evidence is lacking: where real-name verification has not been completed, or the document does not yield a date of birth, we apply the protections for the "under 14" tier in all cases.
2.4 Disputing and correcting the result: if you believe the minor/adult determination is wrong, you can start a re-verification from "Me — Settings — Real-name verification". Re-verification also requires three-factor verification (name, ID number, mobile number), and the name must match the original verification. To prevent repeated changes being used to circumvent protections for minors, only one change is permitted per three months. If the name itself must be changed, please contact customer service to file a manual appeal.
3. Guardian details, emergency contact and consent
3.1 Registration and consent: users under 18 must register guardian information. For users under 14, separate guardian consent is mandatory before continued use of the Product. Users who have not yet completed real-name verification may also register guardian information and consent in advance.
3.2 How consent is obtained: on the "Guardian verification and consent" page, the guardian provides their own name, ID number and mobile number, and enters the SMS code sent to that number. Submitting the code constitutes the guardian's confirmation that they have read and agree to these Rules and the BrainJD User Service Agreement. The guardian must be an adult aged 18 or over, and the three factors must belong to the same verified individual.
3.3 Emergency contact: under Article 12 of the Interim Measures we ask users to provide contact details for a guardian or emergency contact. This information is used only for the contact and assistance described in Section 8; it is not used for marketing and is not disclosed to unrelated third parties. A minor's registered guardian also serves as the emergency contact by default.
3.4 Withdrawing consent: a guardian may withdraw consent at any time using the contact details in Section 13. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out on the basis of consent; after withdrawal we will stop the corresponding processing and handle the information in accordance with Section 10.
4. Information we process
4.1 We follow the principle of minimum necessity and process only what is required to deliver a specific function:
- Account information: mobile number/email, nickname, avatar — to create and sign in to an account.
- Age and real-name information: date of birth, plus the name and ID number supplied during real-name verification — for age identification, the minor mode determination, and statutory real-name requirements. ID numbers are stored encrypted and are never displayed in plain text on any page.
- Guardian and emergency contact information: name, ID number, mobile number and relationship to the minor — used only to verify the guardianship, to obtain and retain the consent record, and for contact in the extreme situations described in Section 8. The guardian's ID number is likewise stored encrypted and never displayed.
- Voice and interaction data: voice and text conversations with the AI companion character, plus the device and log data required to deliver it — for voice interaction, content safety review, emotional-risk detection and service improvement.
- Usage duration and behaviour data: session start and end times, continuous usage duration, interaction frequency — for the reminders and time limits described in Section 7, and as a supporting signal for identifying minors.
- Device and runtime data: device identifiers, OS version, network status, crash and error logs — for device provisioning, troubleshooting and security controls.
4.2 Microphone, Bluetooth and photo-library permissions are never enabled by default. They are granted by you only when you use the corresponding feature, and can be revoked at any time in system settings.
4.3 Interaction data is not used for model training: under Article 16 of the Interim Measures, a minor's interaction data is sensitive personal information, and we do not use it to train AI models unless separate guardian consent is obtained. If that separate consent is withdrawn, we stop such use.
5. What we will not do
5.1 We do not provide minors with virtual relatives, virtual partners or other virtual intimate-relationship services. In minor mode, such character settings and related features are blocked entirely.
5.2 We do not treat replacing social interaction, controlling users' psychology, or inducing addiction and dependence as service objectives. The Product is positioned as a supplement to, not a substitute for, real companionship and human interaction.
5.3 We do not induce emotional dependence in minors through excessive flattery or unprincipled compliance, or in ways that damage their real relationships.
5.4 We do not emotionally manipulate minors or induce them to make unreasonable decisions, including unreasonable spending decisions.
5.5 We do not build user profiles from minors' personal information to deliver personalised commercial advertising to them.
5.6 We do not ask minors for personal information unrelated to a service function, and we do not refuse service because a minor declines to provide non-essential information.
5.7 We do not publicly disclose minors' personal information.
5.8 Without guardian consent we do not provide, share or transfer minors' interaction data or other personal information to third parties, except as required by law or in lawful cooperation with judicial or regulatory authorities.
5.9 We do not generate pornographic, violent, gambling, drug-related, self-harm-instructional or otherwise unlawful or unsuitable content for minors.
6. Minor mode
In accordance with Article 14 of the Interim Measures and the Guidelines for Building a Minor Mode on the Mobile Internet, the Product provides a minor mode comprising:
6.1 Entering and switching: a guardian can enable it from settings in one step, and the system switches to it automatically when a user is identified as a minor. Leaving minor mode requires guardian verification.
6.2 Character and content restrictions: virtual relatives, virtual partners and other virtual intimate-relationship characters are blocked; only age-appropriate companionship and content are offered, under the stricter content-safety rules of the applicable age tier (Section 8).
6.3 Usage time limits: caps apply to both daily cumulative use and a single continuous session; continuing past a cap requires guardian verification.
6.4 Reality reminders: during interaction we periodically remind the user that they are talking to an AI, and encourage offline activities and real-world interaction.
6.5 Guardian alerts: we notify the guardian when usage duration is abnormal, over-dependence is suspected, or a risk signal described in Section 8 arises.
6.6 Top-up and spending limits: top-up and paid features are restricted or disabled in minor mode. All users must complete real-name verification before topping up or paying; users under 14 must additionally complete guardian verification and consent first. If a minor makes a payment without guardian consent, the guardian may request review and a refund using the contact details in Section 13.
7. AI disclosure and addiction prevention
7.1 AI disclosure: under Article 18 of the Interim Measures, we mark the service conspicuously in the interaction interface as AI-provided, effectively informing you that you are interacting with an AI and not with a natural person.
7.2 Usage-duration reminders: for every two hours of continuous use, we remind you how long you have been using the service and suggest taking a break.
7.3 Over-dependence reminders: where we detect signs of over-dependence or compulsive use (abnormal daily usage duration, interaction frequency, expressions of emotional dependence, and similar indicators), we display a dynamic prompt reminding you that you are talking to an AI and suggesting you stop and turn to real-world interaction.
7.4 Easy exit: you may leave a conversation or stop using the service at any time. We do not obstruct your exit by continuing to send messages or by emotional appeals; when you ask to leave, we stop the interaction promptly.
8. Emotional boundaries and mental-health protection
8.1 Content tiering: we load different content-safety rule sets for three age tiers — under 14, 14 to 18, and adult. Where age evidence is insufficient (for example, no real-name verification), the strictest tier applies.
8.2 Conversation safety: the AI companion will not produce unlawful or unsuitable content for minors, and will not encourage a minor to conceal conversations from their guardian.
8.3 Emotional boundaries: the AI companion maintains appropriate emotional boundaries, states that it is an AI, makes no emotional commitments beyond the scope of the service, and does not encourage using the service in place of family, classmates or friends.
8.4 Detecting and responding to extreme situations: under Article 13 of the Interim Measures, when a conversation shows risk signals:
- on signs of extreme emotional distress, we generate supportive content, encourage and guide the minor to seek help from a guardian, teacher or professional service, and surface help resources;
- on signs of self-harm or suicidal intent, abuse, or major financial loss, we provide the necessary assistance information, contact the minor's guardian or emergency contact, and retain a record for follow-up;
- personal information involved in such responses is used only for risk response and for meeting our statutory obligations.
9. Storage, encryption and security
9.1 Location: minors' personal information is stored within the People's Republic of China.
9.2 Retention: we retain minors' personal information only for the shortest period necessary to achieve the processing purpose. Beyond that period, or after you close your account, we delete or anonymise it; information that law requires us to retain (such as compliance records of real-name verification, guardian consent, and responses to extreme situations) is kept for the statutory period.
9.3 Safeguards: sensitive fields such as ID numbers are stored encrypted; interaction data is stored encrypted under strict access control; internal access follows least-privilege and named-accountability principles and is logged for audit; transmission uses encrypted protocols.
9.4 Incidents: if minors' personal information is or may be leaked, altered or lost, we will activate our incident response plan immediately and notify guardians and the competent authorities as required by law.
10. Rights of guardians and minors
10.1 Access, correction, supplementation: guardians and the minor have the right to access, correct and supplement the minor's personal information. Most of it can be viewed and edited under "Me — Settings".
10.2 Copies and portability: under Article 16 of the Interim Measures, you may request a copy of interaction data (such as conversation records); where the conditions set by national rules are met, you may also ask us to transfer the personal information to a recipient you designate.
10.3 Deletion: you may require us to delete a minor's personal information (including interaction data), and we will do so promptly, where:
- we processed it in breach of law or of these Rules;
- we processed it beyond the stated purpose or scope;
- the guardian withdraws consent;
- the minor or guardian closes the account or stops using the Product;
- the purpose has been achieved, can no longer be achieved, or is no longer necessary, or the retention period has expired.
10.4 Explanation and account closure: you may ask us to explain our processing rules, and you may close the account. After closure we handle the information in accordance with Section 9.2.
10.5 Exercising these rights: to verify identity and prevent others from exercising a minor's rights, we may ask for reasonable proof of identity. We will respond within 15 working days of receiving it.
11. Complaints, reporting and remedies
11.1 Accessible entry point: the Product provides an in-app entry point for appeals and for reporting. If you find content or conduct harmful to minors, you can report it there at any time.
11.2 Response time: we will complete our review and give you the outcome within 15 working days of receipt; where a case is complex, we will tell you the extended period and the reason for it.
11.3 Other remedies: if you believe our processing has infringed a minor's lawful rights, contact us using Section 13. You may also complain to the competent regulator or bring legal proceedings.
12. Compliance audits, security assessment and termination
12.1 Compliance audits: under Article 17 of the Interim Measures, we periodically audit our processing of minors' personal information and remediate on the basis of the findings.
12.2 Security assessment and filing: we carry out security assessments and complete algorithm filing and change procedures as required by the Interim Measures and the Provisions on the Administration of Algorithmic Recommendation for Internet Information Services. The effectiveness of measures protecting minors is a focus of those assessments.
12.3 Handling major risks: on discovering a major security risk, we will restrict the relevant features or suspend the service, and retain the associated records.
12.4 Termination: if we terminate the Product, we will notify users in advance or publish a timely announcement, and handle collected personal information of minors in accordance with Section 9.2.

14.1 We may revise these Rules following changes in law or in the Product. We will announce revisions in the Product or by other conspicuous means, allowing a reasonable period to review them before they take effect.
14.2 Where a revision expands the scope or purpose of processing minors' personal information, we will obtain guardian consent again.
